Staying as concealed as possible Paul circled round to see the Northern side windows seeing if he could determine the room Hunter was staying in. As he did this he inspected the picture he'd been left more closely taking note of her features. (OOC: description please.)

The woods offered good concealment, and, fortunately, there was no one to stay very concealed from. The only life about that might detect Paul were a few birds, some beetles, and the odd squirrel. There were signs that people did go into the woods sometimes. In fact, from the way the ground was trampled in places, it looked like occasional several people wound up marching through the woods. Maybe some sort of P.E. thing the school did.
The photograph showed a somewhat pretty Caucasian woman. Though given the relative height of the window behind her, she must have been very short indeed. She had blue eyes, and light brown hair that had been pulled back into a high ponytail. She seemed to be smiling at someone or something out of frame. Given the white cane in her hand, however, she probably couldn't see what it was either, or at least couldn't see it well.

Paul found somewhere in view of the North side windows and set up for a long wait. He'd done this kind of thing before and new he'd be waiting a while before he had something to act on. As he waited he mulled over Fiona's offers for rewards. He had no reason to trust any intel he got from her but she'd known about his capture and escape so he had no doubt she had the information to give. But honestly he had too much to find out and he doubted she'd answer every question he had. If he started with the identities of those involved in his capture, maybe he could learn more about Hydra through them before they were eliminated and get a new list of targets, it was as good a plan as any. How he ended up in what had apparently been a Hydra cell was a mystery to him he'd been with his team in a safe house after a mission, he'd gone to bed and he'd woken up on a polished steel floor. The most obvious answer was betrayal and he was well aware that unless his entire team had been incapacitated without a fight it was the only possibility since anything else would have woken him, but he just couldn't see any of them as Hydra agents. Jeremy was too much of an ****hole to be undercover, the whole point was to make people like you and the rest of the team had barely tolerated him. Tan was far to simple, not in a bad way but she was straight forward, to the point, and had little to know proccesing when she spoke, it was impossible to think of her as having ulterior motives. Mark was just a kid but it was possible, he was the newest member but he was so sincere and eager it just didn't feel like a real option. He wished he thought it was Charlotte she was a pain in the a*** but she was perfectly friendly with the rest of the team which meant she could still be a possibility, but she was as loyal a shield agent as he'd ever met and he wouldn't have thought her a traitor even at her most irritating. That left Amy but that made no sense at all on the outside Amy seemed as unprofessional and childish as a 29 year old could, the last person to get advanced anywhere, but once you spent some time with her it was clear she was as serious about her job as anyone Paul had ever met which was why Coulson had advanced her as far as he had, what kind of undercover agent projects the impression of incompetence and still works towards advancement? Of course this wasn't going to get him anywhere, he didn't think any of them were traitors and he wouldn't that was the entire point. Pushing these thoughts from his mind he went back to focusing on the windows.

"You aren't supposed to be here." A voice said from behind him.
The owner of said voice was... unusual in a variety of ways, and it was difficult to say what aspect stood out most. The fuzzy vest, arm, and leg guards were certainly strange looking, as was her rather bushy tail, which appeared to be genuine. And then there was the fact that her upper front teeth were massive, to the point that they didn't seem to want to be contained inside her lips.

(OOC: self censor. I'm assuming there are at least some shadows if it's light enough for me to be seen.) Paul glanced around for a good shadow making sure to check behind him.

There were plenty of good shadows, all being cast by the trees as the sun started to set. Though what seemed especially noteworthy was that everywhere Paul looked, there were squirrels sitting in the trees, motionless, just... glaring at him.
The girl's eyes widened as she saw the gun that Paul was carrying, and the kevlar vest. She took a deep breath and...
"CHUKCHUKCHUKCHUKCHUKCHUK!"
As if on cue, which it certainly seemed to be, the squirrels dived down from the trees, swarming over Paul.
[OOC: The combat order for this round is Squirrel Girl, squirrels, Paul]
The girl let out another burst of squirrel chatter, longer and more complicated this time, and two additional squirrels shot off towards the school. She then just turned to watch her swarm.
"Get him guys! There's nuts in it for you!"
The squirrels certainly seemed to want some nuts, as they climbed all over Paul, nipping and biting at him where they could. Fortunately, they didn't seem to be able to get through his helmet or his vest. The rest of his body was a different matter, as proven when one of the squirrels managed a particularly good bite to to his left bicep.
[OOC: You have been wounded by the swarm]

Paul, having no interest in killing anything on this mission and realising that he was made unless he wanted to kill this girl and apparently her squirrels, ran round the nearest tree to briefly break line of sight and ran straight through it's shadow coming out near where he'd left his bike. He then hopped on and drove straight through another shadow aiming for one of his shadows around his apartment. He'd have to lie low for a day and try again tomorrow, at least now he knew to avoid the forest. (OOC: Roll spirit. By the way you called Paul Jack near the end of the last post.)

[OOC: Oops, fixed the naming thing. That's what I get for writing that up in a hurry. And, sadly, you did fail your spirit roll... and your driving roll. Normally you wouldn't have to roll driving, but you're still covered in squirrels, and driving while covered in squirrels is a challenge. I imagine. I'll be honest, I haven't tried, yet.]
As Paul teleported away, he took all the squirrels still on his body with him which continued to crawl over him, forcing him to bring his bike to an early stop as the clambered over the visor of his helmet, blocking his vision of the path ahead. Weirdly, it looked for a moment like another one of the squirrels was trying, and failing, to operate the break on his cycle by itself. More squirrels ran after, flinging themselves onto him, chattering loudly. The chattering seemed to be picked up by other squirrels across the grounds as well.
"I'm coming!" The girl's voice could be heard distantly. "Hold him until I get there!"
[OOC: The combat order for this round is Paul, squirrels]

[OOC: The swarm rules don't actually cover how to shake off a swarm, so I'm gonna do it as an opposed roll on agility. The squirrels won by a point]
Paul almost managed to shake the swarm off him, tossing squirrels every which way as they climbed off him, nearly getting to the point where he was throwing them off faster than they were climbing on him, but a shooting pain through his wounded arm slowed him down, and soon he was covered in the fuzzy menaces once more. Another bite found a good mark, cutting deep into his leg. Worse yet, the girl could be seen rushing up to him, bouncing from tree to tree and leaping at him.
[OOC: Paul has been wounded again. The combat order for this turn is Squirrel Girl, squirrels, Paul. Squirrel Girl opts to hold]
The biting vermin were relentless, and Paul was put in agony by yet another set of teeth, designed to crack open nuts, sinking into his much-less-tough-than-a-nut body instead. The last thing he saw was the girl's fist coming towards him. The last thing he felt was his body being lifted off the ground by the force of the impact and slamming into the tree behind him.
[OOC: Paul has been wounded again by the squirrels, and been given a wound of non-lethal damage by Squirrel Girl, knocking him out for five hours]

[OOC: Well, I kind of wanted you to get caught, so I could get your thread, and Maiy's merged. I was going to let you escape if you'd made your rolls or even let you get by her if you through to stealth past the squirrels when I first mentioned them, and worked out something else. But I figured if The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl could take on Doctor Doom and Thanos, she could probably win this one.]

[OOC I'll wake you up when Maiy gets caught up. Sorry. This right here is why I was willing to unleash the Squirrel Girl to get the two of you in the same thread. I'm gonna play a little fast and loose with the timeline though, and have the warning squirrel alert the mansion after Maiy's next post. I'll talk to her about killing those five hours you'll be knocked out for pretty quickly as well, so we can move forward]
