(OOC: sorry about that ^^; took some wrong turns?)
Wandering into the kitchen and looking at the people- quickly noticing the appliances "Right! this is definitely the kitchen, got it." Jack sighed, you'd think finding the kitchen would be a cinch with directions? Apparently not for the archaeologist "uh, hi?"

"We have a lead on our only source of information on Hydra, we were just... discussing Sophie's involvement in a mission to steal some information." Paul explained turning back to Sophie. "She has a personal stake, and I fully understand her not trusting me to get her information for her, but this is a break in. At best you'd slow me down at worst you'll be arrested."

The elf-like man just shrugged casually "slow you down? so suppose the information's say... I dunno, digital? I assume you have someone for that already. Also, side note: arrested? Cute." relaxing "seriously though, I have my own interests for Hydra information, purely research."

Sophie didn't look much impressed. "I said I want to go already, why are we still discussing this?"

"Alright I suppose I owe you at least that much." Paul relented. He looked at Jack "from what I can tell she's not part of any organisation which means we'll be dealing with normal security or the police who 'probably' won't shoot an unarmed blind woman on sight. The Intel she has could go well beyond just Hydra from what I can tell, that's just my interest in her. If you want in that's fine. Once I can see into what we hope is her office I can jump anything not nailed down back here for hacking."

"with all due respect, bullets go straight through you. But you're right we should be fine. I can jump us close best go one at a time, more weight means a harder jump." At this Paul walked into the shadow next to the fridge and offered his hand to Jack.

arching an eyebrow, but walking over... not taking the hand, but instead, placing his hand on his shoulder "guessing this is some kind of supernatural thing you're capable of?"

For an instant, Jack, unused to teleportation in this manner, had a sensation akin to missing a step when going down a stairwell, or waking up from a dream of falling, as the world went completely black for a moment. Almost before he could register these thoughts, however, all was right with the world again, save for the fact that he was now in the shadow cast by the overhang of a bus stop bench, designed to shield those waiting from the elements. The building matching the address provided was a relatively small apartment building a short way down the block.
[OOC: In the interests of saving time, I went ahead and rolled for bringing Sophie in advance, and you passed.]

Sophie stepped forward, easily judging the distance between her and Paul as he spoke. She reached out roughly towards where his arm should be, giving him a chance to take her hand.

Paul took Sophie's hand and jumped again appearing right next to where he'd left Jack a moment ago. "Right there we are the address is that apartment building over there. Best we get a good look at it."

Sophie clutched onto Paul's hand as her entire world shifted around her. "Okay, that was... unpleasant..." she mumbled, fighting back a feeling of intense disorientation and forcing herself to let go of his hand and act calm. "Like he said, lead the way."

The building was surprisingly small, only about five stories tall. From the look of it, each floor contained two distinct apartments, meaning there was room for ten tenants.

Sophie was just about surrounded by sounds, one of the consequences of being in the city. There was a moderate amount of traffic moving in every which way, with the occasional curse word just barely audible through the closed windows, presumably regarding the competence of the other drivers, though no horns were honking, at least nearby. The sound of an ambulance could be heard, though it was faint enough to be miles away. The air mostly carried the smell of the traffic, exhaust fumes, and the faint smell of burning rubber, left over from someone having hit the breaks too hard at some earlier point. Whoever lived in the fourth floor of the apartment building clearly owned a dog, as it barked near continually out the window.
"It didn't mean anything, baby, I swear," a man's voice said, from the other side of the street. There was no apparent answer, so he was likely on a mobile phone. "It was a one time thing, it'll never-- Look can't we just talk about this?!"
While there wasn't a lot of pedestrian traffic in the area, someone would pass by, not infrequently, some of them stopping and muttering to themselves as they looked at the bus time table, trying to plan their day.
Paul searching for vantage points to look into the other rooms, noticed a fire escape on one of the taller buildings, catty corner from the apartment. Several of the apartments had their curtains closed, though the ones on the higher floors tended to have them open, and, from that vantage point, he'd be able to see just a sliver through the windows that were facing away from the street, which had fewer curtains drawn than the others.

Paul returned his attention to Sophie and Jack "Jack why don't you circle round, Sophie stick down here with your... Ears open. I'll head up that fire escape, see if I can eliminate any apartments as suspects, might even find the right one." (OOC: if the fire escape is shadowed Paul finds a place to inconspicuously jump up it. If not he walks over and climbs up.)

Sophie simply nodded at Paul's instructions, keeping her attention on her surroundings. She made her way to the bus stop, found a seat and sat down. She reached into her bag, unobtrusively opening her time warp inside it and pulling out one of her chicken sandwiches, closing the time warp as she did so. Thus settled, she focussed on listening for anything suspicious, anything that might mean trouble for Paul and Jack.
[OOC: Roll Notice as often as you feel appropriate, Sophie's keeping her ears open.]

Paul was able to jump to the fire escape unnoticed by all, except a cat on the top floor of the apartment he was looking at, which regarded his supernatural feat of teleportation with disinterest before being distracted by a bird. For the most part, it was difficult to see into any of the apartments, given that it was daylight outside, and typically darker inside, meaning a fair deal of light simply reflected back, even for the windows that had their curtains open. What was noticeable was a third story apartment, on the left side, seemed to have had bars placed in the windows.
{OOC: Let me know if Jack is up to anything in particular, Darky.}
