This isn't even mentioned in the rules, but after RPing a little, and running through some scenarios on paper, spending a Benny will guarantee an auto-pass to any Trait roll. However, things such as Fear tests and Incapacitation rolls - you can spend a Benny, and it will ensure your character does not die. However, it will not ensure an auto-pass. I've run through some scenarios - it's overpowered compared to the original, even counting the fact you have relatively few Bennies here.

Ok, I'm agreeable to this. It makes sense that Bennies should be powerful, but not too powerful. Even if we're more stingy than other GMs with them

In the original, they couldn't keep you from dying. Here, they can. I'd say that's enough.

Yeah, it makes sense for a campaign where losing player characters would be a massive pain in the backside, in terms of continuity of the story. If we use all our bennies, then die, it's probably our own stupidity.

*shrug* Actually, not too great a loss - yet. You're still in what I term the Opening Verses (1/2/3) - in the novels, we don't see three of the CoPs until Verse 3! On that note, if anyone does want to ditch their characters (maybe they're not working as well on the forum or whatever) and make another one, let me know - I can easily "fix" that problem. I do hope you're all enjoying your characters though EDIT: And I'd put money on Lemiah winning a fight against any one of you guys - but then, she IS the Child of Fire, so perhaps it's unfair to compare...

Yeah, that's fair enough, and yes, she probably would beat one of us in a fight.
